last year is dead to me know not a word about it dont utter a sound so let's break out the champagne and burn this mother down that's what we yell when no one is around ...cold pizza and beer i remember you, we thought this would never end well look at us now, we're barely even friends cold pizza and beer we walked the streets alone unafraid of what would follow and when the rain came down it washed away thoughts of tomorrow

Baby it's cold outside, it's mother fuckin' freezing. Baby it's cold outside, welcome to New England. the distance between us lessens everyday. I hold hope home for dinner, convinced her to stay. It took no empty promise, a weapon I've misused. I know my calculus, us is just me without you. Baby it's cold outside, and you're so far away. The day that you come home will be the end of my pain. Baby it's cold...

I want to be a jukebox, yeah - for you. So I can sit and play songs all day. I wanna be a jukebox yeah, for you.

tell me like you mean it, tell me like you feel it too I am sitting on a rainbow, waiting for the sunshine, but I know the clouds are coming by. I am sitting on a rainbow waiting for the sunshine but I know it's time to start running, it's time to start running for your lives. Run for your lives! Don't get lost in wishing that you could have some. Don't get lost with whatcha ain't got. Everything you will ever need is in our hearts. Where you are, where you should be - well here we are.

about

My friend Tom is the most talented musician I know. He writes amazing music and performs it with his band Strange Changes. www.strangechangesmusic.com

I asked Tom to record some of my songs with me and he agreed. We hung out that afternoon and worked them out. The next day we recorded them in my living room.

This was the last recording I made before I left Boston to move to Miami and enroll in music school. I have a yearning for a deeper understanding and expression of the artform - can you hear the yearning?
