I make nine dollars a day playing micro stakes I keep telling myself that 'it will be ok' but as the quarters stack tall and those penny jars are full I'm here multi-tabling like an animal will these digital blinds ever turn into paper can these holecards here turn into 'pocket saviours' is my equity good? am I getting proper odds so that I can move out of my parents garage maybe this will amount to something someday so I'll do my best not to get lost along the way I don't think I have a problem, I thought I had a plan My plan was to avoid being owned by the man am I wasting my time with all these nickels and dimes or will it all combine to help me define my shrine maybe this will amount to something someday so I'll do my best not to get lost along the way

Degenerate 03:23
I may be what you describe as a degenerate I gamble my life away instead of treating it like a gift Well breathing is swell and all but I want something more Insight to what it is that we're searching for If our universe is infinite - there should always be something left to explore so I will run run run searching for the sounds that feel the way that I do among these streets atop these feet will lead me to you I am reminded of words told by men far more wiser than I 'I just don't know' is how it goes...I can't remember the rest Your memories are useless if the time is always now don't lose yourself in where why when and how we came to be, not clear to me, someday we'll see - but that day is not now so I will run run run searching for the sounds that feel the way that I do among these streets atop these feet may lead me to you what would you say to this face if faced with the truth - and the truth is that I love you. that I have always loved you. I will always love you, you make me want to be a better person.

liquidated my equities playing the game got the best of me world spins on a tilted axis while we're all juggling our assets are dwindling as i'm twiddlin' my thumbs as I hum to my own strum captivate the sweep of my feet lungs come up with wit to grip oxygen thank god there is more explore the breath. life and death or better yet every individual regret upset neglect of your natural good intent intensifying, rhyming, describing life in its beautiful aspects they mechanically manifest lyrics that beg for poetical respect the world is your playground do what you wanna do

about

this is a three song demo that I whipped up one weekend. I was living at home with my parents playing online poker/doing construction full-time and coaching a pee wee football team.
at the same time I was 22 and crazy - so I would find myself going to boston on weekends and completely losing control of myself
one weekend I partied so hard I wound up in the hospital where my good friends Joe and Jade took me in and gave me their couch to recover.
When I got out I told Joe that I needed to make a recording to get the 'music out of me' - he grabbed his recording gear.
